e-RegisterNow.com
e-RegisterNow.com is a web-based service created by Interware. It allows conference organizers and associations to register their members over the web.
The e-RegisterNow.com product asks a registrant to fill our an online application and to pay for it by credit card.
e-RegisterNow can be set up to appear as though the registration is actually taking place on the web site belonging to the organization; the registrant is usually unaware that they have even left the organizations's web site to make the payment.
The e-RegisterNow web site is built using two generic C++ CGI programs, which run under windows NT.
All transactions are stored in a secure SQL database (mySQL) and are transported to and from the registration using 128-bit SSL.
It is important to note that the data collected by one of Interware's merchants is the sole property of that merchant. While that data "lives" on the e-RegisterNow site, it is treated in a similar fashion to the way a bank stores your belongings in your safety deposit box. The data is encrypted and is never data mined.
